This range of terra cotta planters is conceived and made by Jane Norbury, with the idea that container and plant should work together, either exploring contrast or creating harmony in form and colour. The colours, made with metal oxides and white clay, are applied to the exterior and fired with the pot. They are resistant to light and frost. Once planted the pots weather gracefully, gaining an extra patina of lichens or salts depending on their situation. Jane Norbury works alone so the complete collection is not always in stock, but is available to order. In addition, there are vases and new designs on the way..........

Having sold for many years in shops in Europe and America, such as Christian Tortu , Paris, Contemporary Applied Arts, London, De Laren Tuinkamer, Holland or Bergdorf Goodman, New York, Jane now sells her work at the Atelier des Neuf Portes or at the following events:
