We have seen some beautiful designs over the years and one that always stood out is some of the oldest appliances we have in our kitchen. These everyday items were manually crafted and because of that, they had a superior quality that you could immediately recognize just by looking at them.
Just the other day I was visiting some artists websites to find out what they were up to when I stumbled upon this work from this old lady from Wisconsin name Anna. Anna has been working with cast iron cookware for a long time now and she and her husband have manufactured some beautiful artifacts to have at home or to give someone as a gift.
This is just a small example, but even if you take some of the top brands in the world today – like Ferrari and many other famous Italian designers – they all have their “manual” setup and refuse to change – and I believe that is a good thing!
It is great to have the ability to buy a nice, quality item (like the ones produced by Ikea) for a cheap price, but nothing will ever replace a good human labor working for long hours in a single peace.
